Excel Basics: A Very Basic Introduction!

This post is designed both for users who are new to Excel or have very little experience using the functionality of Excel. It assumes that you have at least some familiarity with operating Microsoft office applications.. at least you can open and close documents and use toolbars. Although I use 2007 version of Microsoft Excel, what is not the most recent version of MS Excel (the most recent one is 2010 version.. probably Microsoft will launch 2013 with whole new metro style applications soon), hopefully you will most likely find that tutorials on this website will work on later versions.

Excel offers an enormous number of possible functions, tools, and options for use. Excel is a much more powerful tool than some people realize, and the majority of users only use a fraction of the capabilities of Excel.
