Copy-Paste Protection for Microsoft Word

http://hanxlsx.blogspot.com/2012/10/contoh.html
There are many ways to protect your MS word documents. Using the password protection is one of them. Sometimes, it is kind of rude to give someone a password-protected document. And also if they have the password, they can copy our works easily. The following instruction is to use a macro script to disable the copy-paste function in your document. If you open the document that has been protected using this script, it will look the same as un-protected documents except you can not apply the CTRL-C and CTRL-V magic on this document. This can also prevent copy to clipboard on Microsoft Word. Let's get started!

First thing first, open your MS Word document and let's go to the MS Visual Basic Application by hitting the shortcut Alt+F11.

Copy the following codes to ThisDocument project.

Sub EditCut()
End Sub

Sub EditCopy()

End Sub

Sub EditPaste()
End Sub
Please see the following screen capture!
Don't forget to protect your script. Go to Tools > Project Properties > Protection.
Type your password and click Lock project for viewing and Save the document.

That's it! You are all set!
